Flexible solar panel applications
Evaluate flexible solar panels around the surface, available structural capacity, electrical system and maintenance requirements. A flexible module is not suitable for every roof.
Flexible solar panels for commercial rooftops
Weight-sensitive industrial and commercial roofs are a common reason to assess flexible PV. The 2.9 kg/m² direct-bonding range can reduce module weight compared with heavier constructions, while framed flexible options support approved clamp mounting.
Confirm roof condition, remaining capacity, local fire and building requirements, drainage, attachment loads and the roof warranty before specifying the system.

Flexible solar panels for selected curved surfaces
Curved roofs and shaped structures require a defined bending radius, module orientation and support arrangement. Measure the surface geometry and check the approved mechanical limits for the exact flexible laminate.
Do not assume that a framed flexible module can be bent on site. Its assembled construction and installation instructions determine how it may be handled and mounted.

Custom and mobile flexible solar applications
Non-standard surfaces and mobile auxiliary-power concepts need an application assessment. Available area, vibration, temperature, shading, controller compatibility and attachment loads can change the design.
Share the use case before selecting a standard module. For vehicle roofs, balcony structures or other exposed locations, mounting permissions, electrical requirements and local regulations must be considered separately.
Discuss custom flexible solar panels or review installation planning requirements.
